muddy boot Of the most congenial people I've met in Munich. Anytime we've visited the pub he's done his utmost to be a welcoming and friendly host. He's got a witty dry sense of humour and a generous nature. "and the place is cramped" -- It's a very small muddy boot, popular bar. That adds to the charm and appeal of the place. I'd suggest you give it another go and see if you still feel the same way about the owner & quality of the Guinness. If you feel that they don't know how to pour a good pint then please go into more details. What was wrong with it? Did you raise your concerns with the staff? In my humble opinion Ryan's Muddy Boot is one of the friendliest pubs in Munich. Po muddy boot.

Vernon had worked at various pubs in Ireland, Munich and Berlin before fulfilling a lifetime dream and opening his own irish pub here in Munich. Wether you want to just have a chat at the bar, take a bite to eat, play a round of darts, or just drink Guinness all night The Boot is the ideal place. There's a mixture of guests, including Irish, English, Americans and Germans between the age 25 and 35. Both English and German are spoken by Vernon himself and most of the guests.
