Obviously inspired by Tom and Jerry and other madcap American cartoons puss in boot, and drawn by John Geering of Bananaman fame puss in boot, the occasional script was written by present Dandy editor Morris Heggie. Puss was a black humanoid Feline who strongly resembled a cuter version of Korky the Cat puss in boot, whereas Boots was a tan-coloured humanoid Dog. Every week would involve one of the two playing a trick on the other puss in boot, then the other getting his revenge puss in boot, which would lead to a fight with varying results. The stories not only depended on accentuated and very graphic artwork puss in boot, but fl puss in boot.
